New York Conversation

A close friend of mine send me this conversation:

So, I'm walking back to my apt, and just as I get off the train, I hear this drunkish dude interrogating this other homeless looking old man. He slow asks:

You're my father?
[3 second pause]
You're my father?
[3 second pause]
I will kill myself if you're my father.

It was poeticly gangster but left me with an uneasy feeling. I kept walking and have since convinced myself that they were practicing a role. Actually sounded very like goodfellas -- joe pesci lines spoken by dinero. Not totally convinced :(
